Allerthorpe is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 1.5 miles south west of the town of Pocklington. The civil parish is formed by the village of Allerthorpe and the hamlet of Waplington and according to the 2021 census has a population of 230. Allerthorpe has a public house and restaurant, The Plough Inn; Allerthorpe Lake Park offering water sports and leisure facilities; Allerthorpe Golf and Country Park which has a 9 hole golf club, restaurant and holiday lodges. Allerthorpe Common, to the west of the village, has a nature reserve and is a popular place for walkers. The parish church of St Botolph is a Grade II listed building.
